We at Sedona Trainer, we believe great training starts with compassion. Every dog has a story, and every family has unique challenges. Our goal is to help both feel confident, supported, and understood, without pressure or judgment.
Sedona Trainer was built on a simple belief: dogs learn best when they feel safe, understood, and respected.
We don’t believe in quick fixes or forcing results. Instead, we focus on understanding the “why” behind a dog’s behavior and building a training approach that works for the dog and the people who love them.
Every session is one-on-one, tailored to the dog in front of us, and grounded in positive, humane training methods. Whether a family is working through basic training or more complex challenges, we meet them where they are, without judgment.
Every dog deserves patience. Every owner deserves support. We approach training with empathy for both.
Dogs don’t live in classrooms. Training happens in real homes, real neighborhoods, and real situations.
Training isn’t just about the dog. We make sure owners understand what’s happening, why it matters, and how to continue progress between sessions.
No two dogs are the same. We tailor each plan based on personality, environment, and goals, not rigid programs.

I was always fearful of dogs growing up. A bite at a young age left me traumatized, and since then, I avoided dogs for years, missing out on countless experiences. I never believed I could overcome this fear and love dogs again.
Then Sedona arrived and changed my life forever. Our start was rocky, but she helped me conquer my fear. She stood by me at my lowest and celebrated my best moments. She taught me so much about dogs. She was my sister and best friend.
Our beloved Shih Tzu, Sedona, passed away a few years ago. I promised her that I would help as many animals as I can until we meet again. This is dedicated to her and all the dogs I hope to help. Thank you for reading this. Please take care of your fur baby.
